From July 20 until August 19, 2025, individuals interested in running for office in the parliamentary elections can submit their applications to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC). According to the CEC, eligible citizens of the Republic of Moldova must be at least 18 years old by election day and should not have any restrictions on their right to vote or be elected in order to participate in the electoral process.
